the eruption was not even close of where i live, but still it became a national problem. the volcano, 2 months later, is still active, and still represents a menace for an area of 300km around it. fortunately, the probability of the cone to explode are now minimal, but the sucesive crumbles and earthquakes are not only causing problems to my country, but to our neightboors in Argentina too. too bad I wanted to be a volunteer but they already had too many people helping there. |
