Windows Vista is complete horse sh*t.
I don't know of any other OS that can bring a computer with 1.5 gig RAM to its knees. Also as an added novelty it will eventually corrupt internal files leading to a forced reinstalation. But the fun does not stop there! Thanks to its 5 or so security programs you can be sure that you won't be running any non-Microsoft (and some Microsoft programs like Live Chat) until you spend about 2 hours finding and deleting security "features".
Vista is an unstable half-assed OS that should have never been released. It is all masked by a few glossy windows and buttons (which I have reverted back to a Windows 98 looking theme).

If got 8 Gigs of ram and x2 Core 2 Quad (x4 2.5 GHz) And i still use XP. Windows Longhorn was a beta of Vista.
Edit: I know that's a monster rig but I need high performance to have advantege in such games like first person shooters. With such power I get 600 Frames per Second (!!!11!yeah!1!!!) on games like CounterStrike. Edited by eyeball - 28 July 2008 at 8:41am |

Take 4 gigs off of that and reset the CMOS to get lower CAS latencies for games. 8gigs is a waste of money. Eyeball, what you don't realize is that your monitor's refresh rate is a nonnegotiable cap on your "ubar framespersex." With a 60hz refresh rate (there are practically no monitors with >75hz refresh rate, and 60 is standard), you cannot see more than sixty frames per second.
You think you can do these things, Nemo, but YOU JUST CAN'T!

Don't you hate it when your framerate gets so low your screen warps?
Near 3-4 fps, CRT screens will crack because glass is brittle. oh wait
Once, I was playing counterstrike on a computer from the nineties. It was so slow the powers that be warped it to another dimension where such atrocities are permitted to exist. oh wait Uberhax: When fps gets low enough, you can type "james bond killed my father" to teleport on top of buildings for sniping. It's considered cheap by some, so they try not to warp. oh wait As the screen refreshed, line by painstaking line, I felt a change in the air around me. A great wind swept piles of clutter off my computer desk and scattered papers across the already-messy floor. It subsided almost as quickly as it had come, my ears popping as they adjusted to the low pressure of the frigid air that remained. My vision began to go dark, but before I fell into asphyxia, I looked to the window. The stars were stretched into lines of light, and my house and I were millions of miles from home. oh wait See above, but warp along the axis of time instead of a spatial one. You do not have the proper function to print *meow* also you need a constructor and destructor.
You would confuse the compiler.
