Any of you peeps know any good (AND FREE) virus/spyware/adware scanning/removing programs?
Norton, Zone Alarm and all the others I've got expired. And I'm not exactly made of money.  |

You need ad-aware home edition, spyblaster, and avast all of them are free of charge and are perfect. also to be safe you can add hijackthis and use it everynow and then, altho its quite a complicated program to use, there are some forums out there that specialise in hijackthis log analysis. anyway good luck oh and dont get avg, its the worst crap possible.. having that on my computer was worst than having viruses. |

Be careful with Zone Alarm, Windows currently issued an update which totally disconnects internet connectivity(I should know, I work in tech support, and deal with that poo on a daily basis...)

Ad-aware, Spybot Search and Destroy, a free antivirus lke Avira, and Hijack This (this gets rid of registry problems caused by spyware and viruses)

What!? I don't. It was a great show. I loved the nice finale musical all the bytes and numbers performed at the end of the last season. The new shape-shifter Megabyte trying to marry Dot was a nice touch.

Well I just tried the ones Dra suggested. They work fine. But it still didn't help me with my BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH problem. Oi. :(
