Deep Impact is on the tv and man it's scaring the sh*t outta me! I can't even go to sleep because I'm afraid a meteor could hit me at any moment.
I mean think about it, earth gets hit by tiny meteors all the time though they are severely reduced in size in the atmosphere basically falling apart due to air friction or something.

Meteoroids orbit around the Sun, in greatly differing orbits. Some orbit together in streams; these are probably comet remnants that would form a meteor shower. Debris from these trails may eventually be scattered into other orbits. Other meteoroids are not associated with any stream clustering (although there must also be meteoroids clustered in orbits which do not intersect the path of Earth or any other planet).
The fastest objects travel at roughly 42 kilometers per second (26 miles per second) through space in the vicinity of Earth's orbit. Together with the Earth's orbital motion of 29 km/s (18 miles per second), collision speeds can reach 71 km/s (44 miles per second) during head-on collisions. This would only occur if the meteor were in a retrograde orbit. Meteors have roughly a fifty percent chance of a daylight (or near daylight) collision with the Earth as the Earth orbits in the direction of roughly west at noon. Most meteors are, however, observed at night as low light conditions allow fainter meteors to be observed.

During the entry of a meteoroid or asteroid into the upper atmosphere, an ionization trail is created, where the molecules in the upper atmosphere are ionized by the passage of the meteor. Such ionization trails can last up to 45 minutes at a time. Small, sand-grain sized meteoroids are entering the atmosphere constantly, essentially every few seconds in a given region, and thus ionization trails can be found in the upper atmosphere more or less continuously.

Asteroid 99942 Apophis.

Based upon the observed brightness, Apophis's length was estimated at 415 m (1350 ft); a more refined estimate based on spectroscopic observations at NASA's Infrared Telescope Facility in Hawaii in 2005 is 350 m (1150 ft). Its mass is estimated to be 4.6 x 10^10 kg.

As of February 2005 it is predicted that the asteroid will pass just below the altitude of geosynchronous satellites, which are at 35,786 km (22,300 mi). Apophis' brightness will peak at magnitude 3.3, with a maximum angular speed of 42° per hour. Such a close approach by an asteroid of this size is expected to occur only every 1,300 years or so. The maximum apparent angular diameter will be about 2 arcseconds, which means it will be a starlike point of light in all but the very largest telescopes.

Initial observations indicated a probability of up to 2.7% that it would strike the Earth in 2029.
Additional observations eliminated the possibility of an impact on Earth or the Moon in 2029.
However there remained a possibility that during the 2029 close encounter with Earth, Apophis would pass through a "gravitational keyhole" (a region in space no more than about 400 meters across) that would set up a future impact on April 13, 2036. But additional observations of the trajectory of Apophis revealed the "keyhole" would likely be missed.
As of October 19, 2006, the impact probability for April 13, 2036, is estimated at 1 in 45,000. An additional impact date in 2037 has been identified, but the impact probability for that encounter is 1 in 12.3 million.

I never actually watched an entire episode of Bones in its entirety. I don't know if it shows.

That sounds about right, except the side characters are totally interesting as well!!!   And Bones and Booth are funny together, and I can't wait for them to finally get it on!

I have just found something that gets done in quite a lot of forums called Photoshop tennis
You take an image, someone edits it, some one else edits it again etc. See how it works out here for example:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7H5bqdmnnGU

Could there be a way we could do this with pixel art too?

It's called a 'collaboration'. And we've had plenty of those already. From mosaics to that potatoe/lump of dirt thing that kept evolving with each new post.
