Sorry for changing things around so much but looking back today I was rather unhappy with my last tile and decided to redo a bit of it.
![]() I just really felt a lot of the secondary elements were very weak. |

Such a most EXCELLENT Tuesday morning and afternoon to you, Esven, and I am truly quite rather impressed that you have now richly improved Tile #11 for us especially, because when you just added the TARDIS machine and Doctor Who to the proceedings to where he must’ve accidentally teleported himself into our own prehistoric world and wondering what the rather heck is he even doing in this wildly uncharted new place as he stands bewildered yet very eager at such a clearly rare and impromptu destination as this, you have most completely turned that tile of yours into something rather outstanding and absolutely brilliant!!! Such a fantastic and even better job here, and I am so happy you kept in your prehistoric Tarzan and his vine-swinging antics, too!!! ![]() And that is quite alright, by the way. No problem! ;)

Just a little tweak for my tile on #74.
Noticed I wasn't matching very well to the diagonal tile beneath. Very cool tiles eveyone! ![]() |

Thanks guys. @Esven; Well the collabs are all about inspiration and learning while having fun so I'm sure you can do much better if you stick around long enough. I've got to be honest this collab turned out to be the best in terms of both quality & speed, so far.

Update to #93. Changed it around a lot but I thought it would be interesting to go for a kind of spider in eye kind of thing. No idea how well that comes across.
![]() @Gecimen Oh I know. As with anything practice makes perfect. This is the first time I've done anything in an isometric perspective personally so there's plenty for me to improve. I didn't mean to come off as self deprecating. I haven't been part of any other collabs to speak to how this one is turning out by comparison though. |

Gonna call 79 done. I'm starting to go in circles on it lol. ![]() I'll pick up another one in a while when some more get completed. @Geci Amazing work again! Also, thank you to Irena for the name of it. I didn't know anything about Petra, and it's been an interesting thing to see. I thought it was from Indiana Jones. ![]() I really do appreciate the comment, as I've learned so much from these collabs. @Esven Nice bone pile and spider. Looking good so far, but I don't see the eye.

I think this is nearing completion! I just need to figure out what to fill the empty green space at the top and perhaps even what the dark green shadow behind the totem is supposed to be (I think the plant thing is the one casting it, please correct me if I'm wrong).

@eggy I don't think the dark green really had an intention when it was placed. I don't know about everyone else but I tend to put some bits of attention or the edges of details into the tile edges just to give people a slightly more interesting surface to work from. If the whole edge was bright green it can look unnatural when someone transitions it into whatever they wanted to make. Likewise those little bits can sometimes give people ideas.
That said if someone has already claimed a tile and hasn't posted a WIP yet I usually try to dial it back along those edges to avoid interrupting whatever they may have done so far. Hence why the lower left of my tile above yours it pretty simple while the upper left border with an unclaimed tile has a lot going on. This might just be my way of doing things though. |

Tile 93.
![]() The light from @night's shadow play made it a lot easier to do the stone that I was happy with. Sorry for changing things around so many times. I know I'm clashing a little with your WIP @night but I hope not in a major way. |

Great tile Esven, really digging the snowy pines. the snow stalactites could use some AA that’s all.
@Eggy; please do bot forget the shadow of the totem. It’s a super long one but i think at least a little bit is required even if not the actual size. |

An EXCELLENT new weekend to you, everyone, and I seriously love how this 2018 ISO collab map is continuing to build and build with even more newly completed tiles this week — especially quite recently with such an even more spectacular job collectively by Gecimen, Night, Fusionnist, Theoden, Esven, jeremy, and CuriousBeefJerky once again so far there, too; outstanding-quality newest tiles this week indeed, you guys!!! ![]() And for any new pixel-artists who want to try their hand at supporting us in this magnificently phenomenal ISO collab project here on PJ (or for those of you who are having some serious trouble creating any isometric pixel-art in general, as well), there is an outstanding, outstanding very newest tutorial by Pedro Medeiros (aka saint11) that quite splendidly shows us the simplest, splendidly accurate, and rather more amazingly awesome trade tricks of creating this exact kind of quality pure isometric pixel work that is such a TREMENDOUSLY huge help in making this entire thing a whole lot easier for all of us, entitled “Isometric part 1”, found for you on his own excellent post on Patreon right here: ...and do check this one out for sure, as I am quite certain that it makes a perfect companion piece for all of us towards making this current ISO collab project on PixelJoint a grand and absolutely spectacular success in the record time that we are most precisely aiming for with the pixel-art quality on the entire map being as enormously phenomenal as it already is so far!!! And yes, saint11 is currently doing a special multi-part series of new pixel-art tutorial pieces that clearly show us how to produce such amazing-quality and perhaps *even better* ISO-based pixel art indeed, so do watch for more of his wonderful guides on this on both his own Twitter feed and his Patreon page as well over the coming new weeks. ![]() Just thought I wanted to inspire all of you a little further in a much, much better way for all of you amazing guys and gals, especially for any new pixel-artists who want to get their feet wet in giving this current ISO collab project a go, too. Thank you all once again very much for your most wonderful time this weekend, and such absolutely quite superb pixel-art creativity to all of you, everyone!!! ;) !!

Hey Minord, your tile looks great but both of your tiles suffer from the lack of antialiasing. Here's the result when I spent 5 minutes on them. ![]() You can observe the difference clearest on the mammoth's horns.
