MalvolentMask that rocket looks great. Please forgive me if I sound like a captain obvious, but are you aware, that your ground probably shouldn't be a diamond shape on the edge tile?
IrenaartI love it more with every update. I was already thinking about that space, and I tried checking that but your upper left corner tile, and all bottom left tiles doesn't look good if that darkest color would be a background. Maybe there is a way of extending that sky to surround bottom right part but end it smoothly at some point in form of a cloud or fade or something? I have my predator tile with fixed water riplets, red ground is more defined, predator's head got some lifting, and I also got rid of some noisiest single pixels from the tree bark. ![]() I also have a draft of my proposition for the #82 ![]() |

@Geci, @gawrone; Thanks, guys! If the palette was a little richer in the more darker, adequate colors, I might have also decided to partially pull the sky. But I think that will skip that possibility. For the benefit of collab, I guess... @everyone; Great work so far!

Didn't mean to take so long to get back to this, but I got caught up in life.. This is going amazingly though. SO many sweet tiles that I've missed seeing until now.. @Irena Your tiles, and especially those tentacles, are amazing as always. @gawrone You have some awesome tiles. I think you already might be the MVP of this colab. @vierbit That spaceship looks crisp! I like it. Anywho, I'd like tile 57 if I can? I was only meaning to do a sketch, but I was having fun with the liquid lizard thing and mostly finished before I realized it. ![]() ![]() Still needs a little polishing, but I hope to get back for more tiles in sooner this time.

@CuriousBeefJerky Wow! This liquid crystal monster is so cool. It is an awesome idea and it’s realisation. Thank you very much for your compliment. I would agree if you talk only about quantity not quality :) I started pixeling this january but this collab is already my greatest learning experience. I feel like levelling up with each pixel and with each look at all the tiles made by all of you.

Started plopping down some details, will refine the terrain first and then add a couple of people probably. Placed a silhouette that I'll turn into a Starflier (the ship in Freelancer that you start with), sadly my choice of ships to pick from is a bit tight because most of them don't look compatible with the palette (they're bluish-silver in hue, the Starflier's hue is the closest I can find to the orange nuances the palette has) and I'd like to be as faithful to their coloration as possible. That being said there's an alternative that's very compatible with the palette but I kind of fear it may constitute a spoiler for the game/plot. |

@Talbone Your tile looks amazing. But accidentally you altered some colours slightly, and now the whole image have most of it's colors doubled.

![]() Quake 2 tile is done. Went with the first and weakest enemy - Light Guard, becasue of nice colours, and one flying enemy - Technican. Decided to add blue to lava, to connect better with #13. It is not a very Quake-like lava - much more cartoony I think, but I hope someone will continue it in a fun way. Maybe we could use a lava lake on out planet with some lava monsters. |

@Irenaart, Oh my! That is such a nice thing to do for other artist to not to wait. I'm getting surprised from time to time by how this community is nice and kind. Those shiny black (I'm sorry for not knowing what exactly are they) look great. This is just another example of color combination usage of this palette that I couldn't think of myself, before I saw it done by someone else.

Hi, I'm new to the site. I love seeing this collab come together and looking at all the previous ones. You all are some really talented artists!
I played around with making my own tile (35), but I don't like it enough or feel confident enough in my art skills to reserve a tile yet. For now I'm just practicing.

As I'm scrolling around looking at these pixel worlds I can't help but want to be a little character running around inside them.
So I whipped up a simple HTML5 game demo to have a little fun with it. :)
(The framerate in game is much higher than what I used making the gif.) I have ideas for a super simple lock and key type of adventure game that gives people an excuse to visit all parts of the map, like one item, door or character interaction per tile. - Is it OK to bring up this idea here? - Would the pixel artists here be interested in turning this into a *simple* game? (I'd want to keep the additional asset count as low as possible.) - If so, where should I create a thread to discuss the idea further? I do not want to derail this collab in anyway with this suggestion. It could even be based on a previous collab image if you prefer. I'm a professional gamedev w/ 20 years experience and just wanting to do a fun little side project. |

@EntripicOrder I don’t see why your tile shouldn’t be used. I’m a noob but in my opinion it will be fine if you make it connect nicely with surrounding tiles: Add some white wormy flowers on the left top and some violet holes in the ground on the bottom.
