They're pretty.. abstract. And pretty. :P

I made this little experiment with Artweaver in about 5 minutes, thought it looked pretty cool so I'm sending it here.

Inspired by my RE4 wallpaper.

Dra Chan looks generally like i imagined her to look, although sortof older. :O

I'm not sure how many of you have seen the 'Fuse Lady Profile' piece in my dA gallery but it's old and kinda crap so today i decided to start a revamp of the idea. Here's what i have so far:

Old:
http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y6/Larwick/FuseCharmer1.png

I need some opinions on her shoulder/arm/neck placements/angles/anatomy lala etc. since it's really bugging me. It sortof looks ok to me, but then again i feel there's something seriously wrong there (since i just made it up). Any help would be gorgeous.

Edit - Updated

IMO, the shoulder is a bit too bumpy. Try to make it a bit steeper.

the shoulder should follow a single curved line. unless she is wearing a 40kg bra that rips her muscles.

'Do not cross' xD Very cool. I see a color mistake on the right on the last pic. A mush of red.

Anyway I'm testing Artweaver again, I quite like it.

I drew the character Anton Chigurh from the movie No Country for Old Men tonight. I truly loved this movie, so it was going to happen at some point or another.

Sketched first. Scanned to Photoshop CS to be cleaned up and colored.

Enjoy!!!

I'm trying in vain to understand the logic in the sperm-highlights in the eyes, lar :/

Plusssss wouldn't they have highlights from the bounced light?

Just spitballing here. Something disturbs me about the eyes, I'm trying to put a hand on it. And I'm hard on you because holy mc'balls can you ever draw :(

It makes me regret the fact that I'm not drawing every waking moment

Haha don't worry Sab, you're right, they're wrong in terms of reality. I simply added them because when i'm drawing and the eyes are pure black, adding a simple highlight as shown, whether it's realistic or not, will add life to the character and help me get a feeling for them when i draw. They were alright halfway through drawing but i had to black them out when i redrew the eyes so many times and they got so messy. I didn't want to work on the eyes properly again till the end tbh.
But thanks for pointing that out to me! I think i'll work on them next.
And thanks for the compliments. >_<

I was actually about to edit my post sayiing about how wide his eye/s were, i need to change that.

I would :o. You used psp8 right? I have it too but we're having incompatibility-issues. :P Well I guess the overall is pretty similar to 7.04 which I've been using for years.

Well I would never presume to be in my right mind, but I think the full colour and grey work quite well, the yellow not so much though.
Also I think the design might work better on the back, feels a little close to the collar.

Inspired by larwick's awesome mushroom I have just managed to discover 'Node Edit' in psp 7.04 xD that's how much I have used vector's in it. Maybe I'll post something over the weekend.

E: Awel it sucks. I stole larwick's background subconciously

bump:)

this is my new thing, faking tilt-shift photography. The idea is to make sceneries look like miniature's by blurring the fore and the background, this can be done by hand or with a special camera-lens to set a 'point of focus'.

Well, I didn't take this shot but I did apply a bunch of blurring and contrast. :P

here's another example (looking at it makes mine look miserable). If you too are interested then you should also visit Cityshrinker.com

I'll take my own shots again sometime and try to apply this effect to them.

I dunno leroy, i think i prefer yours to the city example. Maybe it's cus a city would be a harder thing to miniaturize... but heck, i think yours is well done.

That site is great, some of the stuff is so weird to look at. :)
