@gawrone: Thanks! I wanted to make him show his iconic "OK" to the Ewoks as I always portrayed him cunning to say the least, but couldn't work it out with just a few pixels - I'll try gain and include it in the next tile update ;)

@PC PIXEL; Since you are a beginner, choose one of the inner tiles. Edge tiles are more demanding, have a much larger surface area, and are generally obtained by members with more experience.

| Borg tile is almost ready. Just need some "victims". I was thinking about using astronauts from tile #13 and #5 ;) They will fit the house. Another idea of just some random humanoids in TNG starfleet suits. If anyone have any suggestions or could help me choose, I would appreciate greatly. | |

| Ok, I'm done with the Borg. It was my most time consuming and difficult tile so far, but I'm very happy with it. Star Trek TNG tile need to have TNG characters, so Picard, Crusher and Data are here. @Sasha please forgive me for using your musical notes design. I made cpt. Picard playing flute, and I thought it would look better with notes. If you feel uncomfortable with that please let me know and I will update the tile without the notes, or try to come up with original design of them. And I would like to ask for another tile. May I have #9? PS. It could be a fun mini-collab if someone would like to paint Enterprise on #61 but that's just a loose idea. To limit anyone's freedom of creativity with my own ideas is the last thing I want. EDIT: Forgot to add character shadows :) Now it is complete (I think) | |

@Gecimen, well... the best answer I can give is... "I have no idea" XD It just came out like that. We will know what it is, when someone else finishes it. If could be something to dock a ship to, or a base of a building, or a part of some strange alien construction. I'm sure someone will find some cool use for it :) EDIT: I'm very sorry but only after you added the tile I saw that bottom part of it was accidentally erased away :( I know it is very annoying, but I have to update the tile once again. Please forgive me for all this mess.

@MalevolentMask thank you. Can't wait to see your next tile. @vierbit, oh dear this biomechanical-centipede-dragon-monster is stunning. I would love to join you in #11 but I just started my new tile so probably I won't make it :)

| @vierbit; This is sooo awesome, sensei! This is a school for all of us what virtuoso can do with a few colors and a pinch of magic. @gecimen; No problem. I'll choose some other tile in the meantime. Still don't know which one, but I'll choose tomorrow... @PC PIXEL; Please, don't be discouraged. I just suggested that you start with some smaller, not so demanding tile. Take gawrone for example; he is also a newbie on this collab, he made a few inner tiles before he asked for edge tile. In some way it was like a needful practice to him. @gawrone; Great tile and work on Borg! Just one suggestion; please when you post WIP or finished tile, write on which tile number it refers. | |

I have a very surreal idea for #11. What if vierbit’s monster, which is dominating over the whole planet with it’s perfection is in fact a materialised river (water of the entire planet). I was looking at the blue cover of its body and it’s placement in the collab and I think it could be cool if it smoothly starts turning into the water at the #11 to become our river in next tiles. Please let me know what you think. If I fail to pull that off I will give the tile back.
@Sasha, snake is insane. Thank you for the notes. I have to say that honouring is what happens when you are calling an “artist “ the noob like me :) should I give them white outlines? @Irena, Ok I will remember to type the tile number, I understand it might be confusing. I’m so glad that you like my tiles. @PC Pixel, I confirm. I made 5 middle tiles before I had courage for my first edge tile. Go ahead and join us in this collab because we are not even half done. There is plenty of room to practice here and if you want to get more skill for the next collab, there is no better way.

   @gawrone
Sorry for the late response, anyhow I think it would work if the edge ended in blue stones. I was thinking of adding them to the bottom portion of my tile :) Speaking of mine, sadly still no progress. I've recently gotten a little busy because I have upcoming finals. Lots of work to do but I'd still like to work on my tile.

Sounds easier to f**k up rather than pull off, but give it a try and if it doesn't look good, just continue the giant-centipede instead of turning it into a river. Please note that working on other artists' styles is the fastest way one can gain pixel art skills, especially if it's one of the masters like Vierbit.

Yeah, I would also regret turning such a fantastic beast into something else. But that's just my opinion. I'll take #95, I have another (crazy) idea for a reference to Adams, this time somewhat easier to make, I guess...

| Here is WIP of that idea for #11. I'm positively surprised becasue for me it shows more potential than my abilities could make me believe. The idea is for the monster to gradually crawl out from under the blanket of the water. The spikes dissapear under the water surface. First leg widely spreaded already drawn, next leg I want to be partially hidden and reaching from below from the partially liquidised crust, and the last I want to only stick the tip out. I don't know yet what to do with the left side, where to end it. I would have to know how the river will flow, so I tried to predict it with this clumsy line skeetch: I also have a proposition of #9 with blue stones on the right edge for @Eggy: | |

@Sasha127 Snake is amazing! I won't be able to work on my tile till monday but I will prepare some suggestion for You about the cliff by then if you don't mind.
@gawrone That's a really interesting idea! Considering the proximity of the water tile it could really work! @PC PIXEL I feel You. This is my first collab as well and I really took my time to consider if I'm worthy and what tile I can grab to not screw everything for everyone. Look for free tiles that are not on the edge of the map and see if the neighboring tiles somehow correlate to an idea You might have.. Then just pixel away and post WIPs :D The teamwork that arise by having to adapt to neighboring tiles is a really fun experience!

@PC Pixel I agree with @Shaka that continuing someone else's idea if you don't have your own is a good suggestion, but also, best ideas come up while you work so, when you choose a tile and start collaborating other tile, you most likely will get plenty of ideas just then :) But also I made a list of possible refferences to books, films, tvshows, comic books, and games that could work here and I picked only those I wanted to make or felt that will fit with neighbouring tiles. Here is the rest of my list I haven't used yet, maybe you will get some inspiration, or even get other ideas by looking at it: - E. T. - War of Worlds - The Day When Earth Stood Still - Starcraft - Half Life (xen) - Ender's Game - Guardians of the Galaxy - Halo - Unreal - Mass Effect - Independence Day - Total Recall (martian's air producing machinery) - The Thing (mimic alien - probably spider head is most iconic but also the dog - too bad we do not have snow biome on our planet)

| @gawrone; actually, it might work! You are every time better and better. And from vierbit we all can learn, and you don't miss that opportunity. That's great! @PC PIXEL; listen to what others are saying. Pick a tile which is surrounded with ready-made solutions. And just connect them to blend well. That's it! It doesn't have to be perfect, nor grandiose. You don't have to bother with the characters. Some interesting rocks and strange surface are enough for the inner tile. | |

| Wow, so many amazing new tiles. Great job everyone. @Gawrone, thank you. Bio spaceship indeed...Farscape was one of my favorite sci-fi shows so I just had to find the perfect place to put a Moya (the spaceship from that show) and you made it possible with your dark sky from 82. @Irenaart, I think just a couple of sky ripples on your tile's edge should work. Here is my update: And if everything looks ok I think #83 is done: | |

@vierbit Wow, that water creature is amazing! It's so much fun watching this collab come together and contributing my little pieces. :) It's so refreshing to find a place online like this where everyone is so encouraging and friendly! It's a rare find and reminds me of the internet 20 years ago before I felt so jaded about the whole thing. Thank you @gecimen, @irenaart and others for setting a positive tone. Hello, I'm back from a very busy working weekend trip and I finished (in my opinion) the #11 tile. I think it is only the part of the job. Very hard and responsible task (and also deciding about the overal result of this idea) will fall on the artist who will choose #3. Tile #3 can have enything but on the bottom-right part the right edge of the monster turning into water and remaining legs will have to be placed perfectly to decide it's shape and overall look. So I'm very sorry for leaving this to someone else (not sorry if that person will enjoy the challenge). I also think that tile #18 and few others will also not have an easy task following that idea, but I hope it will be fun, and the full result will look cool :) If the #11 tile is considered done, please allow me to choose #68 as next one, becasue I already have a fun idea. But if not, please help me fix anything that needs it.

@PC PIXEL; You see that you can...   Maybe a slightly milder transition between "white" and pink color. With yellow and light orange antialiasing turns out pretty well.

| @Gecimen, thank you! First I thought about Silver Surfer flying out of that wormhole :) I made the red blob on the top so basic because I didn't wanted to determine how other artists will continue. I think that like this it can be: 1) a continuation of the world edge from tiles #81 and #82; 2) another space island similar to #90; 3) just a red planet or spherical astronomical object if someone would like to continue the dark space cloud and add some cool planets, maybe even one with rings like saturn? 4) or something crazy I cannot even predict. @PC PIXEL Your crystals are lovely. I also think that whites could be too sharp. Maybe you also could use beige #b18961 for magenta crystals highlighted edges? Those white lines that are on the sides of the crystals and leave only the top white triangles. You dont have white side edges on green crystals and it looks better. That beige will be slightly brighter than pink but not as much as white so it could work without altering your design at all. And I love the blue worms. And also, thanks to you I can now claim another tile, becasue I was blocked ^^ so I'm actually double grateful to you. For joining our collab wit a great tile, and for unlocking me :) @Irenaart; @Gecimen, could I please have the #29 now? :) | |

| Ok few hours after dinner and I have this for #29: I will finish it when PC PIXEL is done. I was thinking about adding Boba Fett on the cliff. He could compose nicely with the dragon baby :) @Gecimen. If you are having a block on your current tile, maybe you can also froze yours and ge back to it after you finish the Mustafar Duel in #22? You wanted to do it and you probably already know what to put there, and its a middle tile so much less demanding then edge tile? EDIT: I allowed myself to add both our WIP tiles so see how they combine at this state. The tile #21 or/and #14 could have some cool industrial architecture, which could connect smoothly with Quake2 crates :) - just a random thought. | |

| @pc pixel, looks cool, added :) @gawrone; yes, I think I'm having a block but it's not about the tile. I tried doing #31 and #59 as well but I didn't like what came out. Nowadays I'm doing a lot of freelance pixel art scenes and I'm kinda used to freeform drawing and it doesn't work for detailed stuff as in ISO collabs as I want it to be. I didn't really do too much for #97 so I could drop it instead of freezing it. Eventually I'll make one or two tiles for sure, I never missed participating in these collabs before :) | |

@Gecimen, och no! I just wanted to help. Leading you to drop your tile wasn't my intention at all ;( aspecially when I had a secret plan to collab between you and Irenaart in #96. I have finished the Bounty Hunters tile #29. Boba Fett and Bossk are hunting some blue worms, or are here to grab some crystals, or to clean the mine, nevermind their payed gig, they are here for some reason :) EDIT: I also thought I could join Sasha's WIP tile #47 becasue it is pretty much done. I made some skeetches of ideas in case I could take #54:
