Hello! I've been doing pixel art for a while but only recently looked for a site dedicated to it. Glad I found one. My stuff isn't anything special, but hopefully this will give me motivation to improve.

Hey yall I'm new here and just checking out a few things ect ect. Nice to meet yall. I do a bit of spriting and I say I can do an adverage job at it. One question I have is for paid services, what are the usual rates? Like do mose hired sprite artists get paid per sequence (one complete animation) or by frames, or some other way?

don't computers come with Paint?

Good evenin,
I signed up a while ago but never actually did anything once I did.
So here I am now, after finally being able to change my password.
I think I got the link from Hishnak's site, seeing as he makes games (as I do when I have the time).

Been pixelling ever since I started making games, which is ages ago now, but I definitely know I can get better, which I guess is why I'm here. I signed up to Pixellation once but didn't post much. Maybe this will last longer? Who knows...

I've posted a pixel musketeer (that Hishnak has already critted - is that a word? - me on and I've updated) so I'm looking forward to your comments...

I finally registered after lurking for a bit, and figured it was time to post in the Meet and Greet thread.

I'm Chris, I'm currently living in Vermont and praying that I'll be able to move somewhere awesome like Boston, or New York. I'm currently a firefighter and love being on the job. My dream has always to become a firefighter, and although I've done it, my goal is to get on with the FDNY.

I've been doing pixel art for two or three years now. I had everything uploaded to my webserver hoping it would be safe there while I reinstalled windows. Well, lazy ole' me never downloaded the ZIP archives that I stored, and when my server suicided in the data center, I lost EVERYTHING. So, I've taken some time off and now I'm starting to get back into the game. I'm glad it's like riding a bike, because Im feeling REALLY rusty.

Hello I'm greenraven and I signed up yesterday but it was late, so I'll introduce myself now that I'm no longer half asleep. 

Anyway I've been drawing and doodling with MSPaint for as long as I can remember. But a few years ago I dropped it, and now that I picked it up again I find what limited skills I had, have dwindled into nothingness. So it's back to the basics for me, I'm starting over. I even found some great tutorials over at SpriteArt.

I've been looking around the gallery and some of that stuff simply makes me want to cry. But with a little patience and a good dose of trail and error, hopefully I'll be half as good as some of you folks.
