So, I haven't pixelled in a long time, and I'm kinda rusty. Here's an avatar I made for a forum.
 It started a starry sky, but somehow it turned into a maniacal techno-thingie. I'm not sure how to improve it, so I'd like to ask for some critique. Thanks in advance! |

looks good so far - only the banding on the green forehead emblem has a bit of banding.
you could also darken the darker teeth color just a tiny bit and use it as a highlight on the face itself. |

I'll just copy and paste what I wrote in another topic:
Banding: Banding is basicly, when rows of pixels form, like this: XXXXXXX YYYYYYYY ZZZZZZZ or XZY XZY XZY XZY XZY it's bad because it will always look not sharp, and not smooth too, since it makes the pixel resolution apparent. |

Haha I love that! Could you add in a shade for the green? I think it would really help with the eyes. (btw, are the details in the eyes supposed to be sunken in, because that's how my mind keeps seeing it; it has something to do with the black.) Edited by W M - 14 July 2010 at 1:29pm |
