I tried to do an experiment today, after seeing Disgaea's style where the shadows are pretty purple.



Problem is, I can't seem to use it to make a decent orange. Help?

Orange is around hues 30-50 on a hue slider that goes from 0 to 359.  Orange is also very saturated in order to have its identity as orange.

Ah, thanks. I managed to shade orange with purple and it wound up having a very sunset-like feel to it.
