I'm intrested in how an site like Pixeljoint works. I'm waiting now some days that my two new pixelarts get approved and so i started thinking what you guys must do to run a side like pixeljoint. how to start such a site? how to update it? have you got very difficult programs for it or is it all done in 2 clicks? costs it money (if i may ask) and how to get ads on the site? do you earn money with the site? is it just hobby to run a site like pixeljoint or is it a real job? so i'm really intrested now whats behind the scenes! hope you guys tell me^^ |

Art can take a while to add when issues with the art come up, or something is questionable.
Your house seems to use transparency layers and is the reason its been in the queue waiting to be added. No one has commented on this as I thought it would happen by now, so now you know on that (WIP section thread might be good). Some things are not quite iso and could be fixed. Overall its ok and can be added once corrected. Your Joint room is OK and has not been added because you just submitted it :\ It could be fixed a little too, the text is simply pixelled and the character is hard to read considering you are using 88 colors) Read the PJ FAQ page for general submission rules and stuff. Pixeljoint is not a job or a commercial money-making site. PJ is a hobby site for people into pixelart. Some software is used but a lot is just manual work. Nothing in Pixeljoint is 2 clicks (replying to you alone has been a gazillion clicks, to check the colors and transparency in your art, copy/pasting, reviewing your gallery, thinking of what to say, etc). |

umm wow thank you for your replie and thank you for your analysation of my art... you didn't have to analyse my works (but really thank you for doing the gazillion clicks) but i was more intrested in how PJ works. It makes happy to here that it's a real site that is a hobby because there are many sites out there that just want to make money. I real like this site ore know.....you do so much work for it and this is really cool (hope you understand what i want to say, it's sometimes hard to express because i'm german^^)
and i'll post my work now in the WIP section to hear how to correct it (you really have found 88 colors in my second work? i'll fix that and maybe i pixel it completly new)
