Okay, so I'm studying pixel portraiture and I thought I would post here for some feedback. It's still a wip so some areas, like the hair, haven't been fully developed yet. I just thought I would ask for feedback while in the development process.

i think your pixelled face is seen more straight-on than the reference, which makes the preservation of the angle on the nose seem odd. also, think of the volumes in the area between the upper lip and nose. it seems the nose/eyes should be shifted to the left, as right now it seems like a mouth is projecting from a more or less flat face.
