Team name:
None at the moment.

Project name:
Project Garas (going to change)

Brief description:
This is a turn-based/miniature game based on a technological fantasy webcomic called Chronicles of Garas. Set in Garas, user will be able to command an army of ten units on a hex-based battlefield ranging from gnoll snipers to dwarf-driven tanks. There will be six factions in this, each containing 15 units, thus equaling to 90 units in the game.  Some of these units will have special abilities, allowing the user to combining simple brute force with spells and abilities to hinder their opponents. All battles are one-on-one based and involving kill off the enemy squad.  This game takes elements of Stratego (hidden enemy units until attacked or attacking) and Chess (losing a fight means a lost unit.  No HP)

Target aim:
At the moment, get the interface up and running and testing out two factions.

Compensation:
I cannot say anything at the moment.

Technology:
2D sprites in OpenGL.  I prefer the 2D sprites to be somewhat anime-based, due to marketing reasons.  Multiplayer is a must.

Talent needed:
Two pixel artists.  I already have a sound engineer, programmer, and one pixel artist.  Must be able to do fantasy creatures like orcs, dwarves, and elves.  Mechanical things like robots and tanks are also a must.

Team structure:
Myself (writing the story and design document)

Website:
None, unless you consider the webcomic to be the 'website'.  Http://www.chroniclesofgaras.com

Contacts:
bloodknight@rogers.com (my MSN and email)

Additional Info:
I am not 100% done with the design document.  So far I've layed out how the battle works, how the hexes work, how the interface should look like (including images) and finished off two factions out of the eight.  Bascailly, all the basics of the gameplay and interface are done, it's just I need to add six more factions.
