My name's Edward and I'm building a new forum for the young adult. I'm looking for an avatar designer similar to the xbox360 avatars or maybe gaia online. He or she should be able to design avatar clothing items specifically, as well as avatar characters. We are looking to build an avatar shopping experience with fake forum money. the avatar ideally is in 3d or 3d flat, but 2d static if done well, could be an option too.

This is a paid job with flexible hours. You'll be able to add our company to your resume and you can reference us and we'll put in a good word for you to boot. That's not a problem.

Compensation is negotiable. We are looking for someone who can work a lot of hours over the summer, as we are looking to launch our site by Fall or Winter 2011.

flexible hours means you are working from home at your own computer and whenever you want to work. the hours are up to you, but what's important is the end result. we are looking for quality pixel avatar items and graphics to add to an avatar shop on a forum. every week, there should be new additions of avatar items that can added to the shop.

in terms of compensation, we are looking at a variety of different people right now. we are still evaluating our best options. this can be discussed and negotiated in private.

i'd like to see some previous work and portfolio as well. as of right now, there is no function website. we are putting together a website soon. the avatar designer may need to work together with the website designer.
