Project: Sorcerer Origin (official name to be revealed later)

Brief description:
An action-rpg in the style of Secret of Mana or Secret of Mana 2 (aka Seiken Densetsu 3). Will feature one playable character on screen with various enemies, NPCs, boss battles, and more. Will include upgradable weapons, armor, items, and spells.

Target aim:
Retail on the Xbox Live Indie Games channel and soon thereafter, Windows 7. Our goal is to move up the chain to XBLA, PSN, etc at a future time.

Compensation:
The 2D Artist will make up to 25% of profits gained from the sales of the game. A contract will be drawn up for the position.

Technology:
Target launch is for the Xbox Live Indie Games channel and also Windows 7. Will be using XNA, C# to code. We will handle the fees for the XNA license, etc.

Talent needed:
Needing (1) 2D Sprite Artist. Artist must be able to provide sprite sheets of each character or enemy needed for the game (with each pose so we can animate them). Would be good if artist could do some artwork that could be used for animating torches, magic spells, etc. Artist must also be reliable, easy to communicate with, responds quickly to email or skype inquiries, and can get the work done in a timely fashion.

Team structure:
Myself: game design, story, script, character/creature concepts, level design, etc.

(1) Lead Programmer who handles all of the coding, XNA handlings, etc.
