Hello, Everyone. I'm new to the forums(and honestly I haven't even heard of this website until today) so if this is in the wrong area please let me know.

Now, on to business.

I'm a game developer(in the making) and I want to make RPG games, but I have no sprite-ing experience(Characters, Houses and the such), I can make certain tiles(Grass,Stone,Dirt,ect...).

I was wondering if anyone could give me some pointers on making sprites.

All the tutorials i find on the internet either...

-A) Suck and don't explain anything.

or

-B) Only explain how to make the sprite facing downwards, not any other direction.

If anyone could help me, it would be much appreciated.
(Just a note, when I say sprites, i mean like the ones in Pokemon or Final Fantasy (the old ones)you know, 16x16 and what not)
