Hey all

I have finished my Flash based puzzle game that is very much in a classic Nes 8bit style. The game is finished saved from sounds and puzzles, which I am working on now.

Looking for someone to redo the art work as at present it's all borrowed.

The game will be called NaugtyTroll or NastyTroll - unsure at this point.

This is unpaid and the game will be released for free.

The graphics that need replacing are below, looking for the classic Nes 8bit style simialr to what is there now, the player does not need to be a wizard.

All tiles/sprites are 20x20 and x2 scalled up to 40x40 for that authentic pixel look.  Background screen in 320x240 again x2 scalled up.

Let me know if you're interested.

Currently planned to release for flash and HTML, possibilty of Driod/Iphone release later if people like it.

The game would be greatly improved if you removed that black screen of text near the beginning... It's clear from the introductory scene what happened, so that doesn't need to explain, and the gameplay is simple enough that the player will immediately grasp it, so that needs no explanation either.

The gameplay itself is quite good though, I've never seen a block puzzle game quite like it. Due to how simple the mechanic is, and how complex you could potentially make the rooms, I think you've got yourself a nice little puzzle game engine here.

I'd be happy to make some sprites for you; PM me and we'll discuss character designs and such.

So I have a quick question. You say your sprites are 20x20, then scaled up 2x. However it seems that the sprites are a native 40x40 instead. My question is do you want a 20x20 image, or a 40x40?

The game actually runs at 640x480 but all graphics are created for a 320x240 screen so they are x2 scaled to fill a 640x480 screen. So a sprite originally created at 20x20 becomes 40x40.

Awesome, that perfectly answered my question. Anyhoo, trolls:

I'll upload a 2x size picture here in a bit.

[Edit] 2x Image
