Help me to improve this picture. The colors have to be the same, I could change in the muscles and face?

you've gone deeply into detail without accurately defining the volumes first. i can make no sense of the highlights on the shirt. define the pectorals, shoulders, indicate the ribcage or abdominal, using general areas of light and shadow. these are the major volumes you should concern yourself with before you jump into texture.
anatomy wise- head is too big. needs stronger shoulders. eyes are off center to the left. the bicep lines make no sense, and don't conform to the shape/placement the biceps would actually have at this angle. the chest/abs is a mess. where's the neck? is this turtleneck armor? the shoulder pads confuse me as well. how are they attached? are they flat plates that sit atop the shoulders, parallel to the ground? use references. sword is upside down too. gonna be tough to grab that one off his back. |
