Here's my very first pixel art done from scratch. I'd like some advice because although I tried, it doesn't look very professional.

Not sure what I could do to improve it. :/

I think I see what onek is trying to say.

It's sort of hard to see what's going on with the sprite, especially with her face. You're working pretty small, so clarity is important here. You could try to bring the color count down as well; you don't need that much at this size.

Also, she looks like she's falling over somewhat. Her left arm and leg are a different thickness than the right ones, and her position doesn't look particularly stable.

Thank you very much for your answers!

I see your points there. So basically I have to pay attention to the clarity, narrowing wrists, changing legs to a more natural position and reducing colors as needed.

However, I think I'm going to move on to the next sprite, because I don't believe I could fix this one without having to redraw everything. Also, I don't seem to figure out a stable position for the legs.

Your sprite isn't bad at all.  I think the biggest thing is the pose as mentioned before.  I played with the pose a bit and added a touch more contrast in certain areas.  And her right arm seemed out of perspective.
Yet another edit:
