![]() ![]() Currently our mech is making great progress and that job is almost done! We are looking for someone to create a map construction kit (by creating tiles that match and fit eachother). I put the mech onto a image I still had laying around somewhere (not mine) to bring life to the idea I have. ![]() What does sci-fi mean for us? Tubes, wires, specific doors and patterns. If interested please mail Leendert [dot] oomen [at] gmail [dot] com with some examples of your personal work. Feel free to mail for any questions about the project or job too. Thanks! Leendert |

Still looking for someone to do these..
If you are worried about a payment I have a reference that has been paid before and has put work on the mech. Do note I'm looking for a quality artist and a long lasting freelance relationship. I can pay for every few tiles if requested. Edited by Qemist - 21 July 2012 at 11:31am |

As I'm fairly busy troughout the entire work week from monday to saturday (sometimes sundays) I get annoyed really fast by people who take on jobs they cant. Sorry. Next to that I'd like to add that if I had to pay for everyone who did some fast 10 minute sample work I wouldnt have any money left to pay someone who's actually well skilled. I didn't request money I started talking about budgets and quotes. I'm not going to start work on something before I've negotiated prices with someone. Secondly most people who are "well skilled" wouldn't even do you a sample in the first place, and they certainly wouldn't spend more than 10mins on it. Thats what a portfolio is for. And finally, all you had to do was send me an email saying you wasn't interested rather than ignoring me. Its the professional thing to do. |

My apologee for not replying back. Im having a rough few weeks at work.
Another lesson learned when it comes to giving someone the chance to prove themselves: dont do it. I'm sticking to what I see on portfolio's from now on. Thanks for your time tough and sorry for the trouble. |

No worries Originally posted by Qemist Another lesson learned when it comes to giving someone the chance to prove themselves: dont do it. At the end of the day you get what you pay for, I would have considered the budget you had for the work you wanted to be fairly low, and i worked to the paramiters of the budget from my point of view. If you want more detailed work you may have to think about upping the budget or maybe trying deveiantart, they have a lot of art students willing to work for less but its a bit of a gamble. |

I wouldnt mind to pay more for art that looks better at all!
We're actually hiring multiple artists and I have found 2 so far. Both are having a delay and we can use a third if he or she is able to start as soon as possible. |
