Hello everyone,

I am a 4th year computer arts student studying at the university of abertay in dundee, Scotland.

I am in my honors year and was wanting to do a pixel art project, never done pixel art before but have been always interested in it.

So yeah what i need help in is finding official academic peer reviewed journals about the practice also any books.

yeah, i am finding it difficult might have to think of something else that can use pixel art as the outcome rather than the source... I am surprised though since pixel art has been around for so long even for use in like early console and mobile games. that it doesnt have any official thing talking about it, afterall everything else does.
