One guy says that the art is good but some say its not good. I need the art to be decent for my game I'm making.

I dunno about the art, but that's a terribly inefficient way of displaying those bars depleting. It'd be better to write a for(int i = 0; i < barCount; i++) with one single bar being drawn multiple times with i*barHeight being used to space the individual draws out vertically.

Why don't you post one or two things you want crits on, you can't get focused critique this way. Most of this stuff is too simple to even say anything about (giant white and green boxes? The same red bar a thousand times?)

I won't comment on the animation because, well, it isn't animated.
there isn't really anything to say about the text- it's very simple, very saturated, and pretty boring. why is it so large? at that resolution, you could be a bit more expressive with the letters. what is the purpose of the text (or any of this stuff)? Is the text for a title screen? If so, what is your plan for the rest of the title screen? We need background information. The purple planet is flat, it isn't shaded like a sphere. Practice shading basic geometric objects. the black outlines on the interior of the planet only serve to further flatten the object. The red ship is also flat, and like the other work, the colors are boring. Mostly primaries, over-saturated, will read like a default mspaint palette or something. It isn't shaded like a 3d object, like the planet you've restricted any shadow or highlights to just the edges of the object, paying attention to the flat shapes that compose the object and not three-dimensional planes. the red lines with diamonds is a red line with diamonds. what else can one say about it? we don't even know what its purpose is. In short, this art suffers from the EXACT SAME PROBLEMS AS THE LAST TIME YOU POSTED YOUR ARTWORK. And I've given the same feedback as before. And, if history is any indication, you'll ignore the criticism, never update the work, and create a new thread in a month or so. |
