   I cant figure out how to make transparent back rounds. i have adobe photoshop but it is soooo confusing. can some one give me step by step instructions?

	I use a MAC (PC is almost the same) 1- new psd doc with transparency checked and 72dpi (mac) 90something (PCs). 2- create your art on layer 2 and higher (leave layer 1 blank and you'll insure it will be transparent and sav (.psd) FILE 1 3- Under file menu use sav for web option not regular save (new window pops) 4- select parameters, you may need to look around for the window if u r on a PC (ex. gif or png8 not the png24, with transparency checked) and save. FILE 2 5- submit FILE 2 for flaming... I mean c+c NOTE: There are other ways to accomplish this task and some are better. But for now since you still find the photoshop environment confusing, use this method so that you have a backup for retouching/revising (your psd layer file FILE 1) and have the generated gif/png8 file FILE 2 for posting and whatever. If you do in fact find photoshop confusing, use ImageReady which is a simplified version of Photoshop and is perfect for pixel work (I use it all the time) and can be found in the menu where is says jump to image ready, I highly recommend this. If you like using it make an alias on your DT since its bundled inside photoshop and then you can bypass photoshop alltogether. Check out photoshop tutorials for these kind of things, they are out there. Edited by jalonso

	Come on guys, seriously. If Flameruler13 is really bugging you then just ignore him. He got a very in depth answer Jalonso, and theres no reason this should be taken any further. I'm closing this thread. It really doesn't make the rest of you look any cooler for ganging up like this, even if Flameruler13 is a bit of a twat.
