I did some experiments with my fave program simply3d3 which is now around the web as abandoneware, I wanted to see if I could get it to do isometric, and it will in fact, if these settings are used.
set canera location x=18.7, y=53.7, and z=98.2, and camera anglr to 45 degrees. Then when you make an object set it's y rotation to 34 degrees. There you have it a 3d pixel/isometric program for your kit.
