Pixel Joint Forum: Needs a face... that may be a problem

   hello. names lachlan. Im from australia and I used to post pixel art abit back when pixelation.swoo.net was still round (under the name "pixel dragon"). but i stopped when it did. anyway, im just starting to get back into pixel art and so decided to make a person as my first new peice. (this is the first human iv ever pixeled so excuse level of badness)

Ok. as you can see. my pixel man has a problem... being thast he has no face. Im finding it really difficult to draw a human face (even just the eyes) at that tiny size. help is very very welcome. also some C+C on the rest of him would be nice
(btw i know the arms are abit too short and i will change that tommorow)

	Ok well as for the eyes the old rpg characteseyes alyaws seemed good to me. They were a white rectangle with the pupil as a line in the middle. Unless he has herman munster feet you should form the feet more, clip the corners off and also, make the shirt less slumpy. The thing that really needs to be looked at is the seam that runs up his middle. He should have a crotch in there somewhere. Like the palette though Pixel_Outlaw

	the for the crits Outlaw. heres what i came up with im quite happy with the eyes i draw him and i mad him a little taller to. the shoes still look abit off but im not sure what to do about that. Meta\|Fox

	Some nice improvements there. The oly thing that still botherss me os the lack of shoulders. This is going to sound bizzare but if you made him topless you would have problems defining the shoulders. There is simply too little shirt there to contain shoulders. Good luck and happy art making. :0
