I recently posted a pixel art piece named Super Londo Bros !! @ 8/3/2013 9:22:30 AM. After finally being approved it entered the gallery for approx 10 - 20 minutes after which it was suddenly removed. I received the following message from an admin called Jalonso:

" We are very sorry to send back your beautiful mockup but we don't allow collab work as it leads to chaos and risks opening the door to grey areas we rather not deal with, k.

If Pixeljoint was only highly skilled pixelartists or by invitation then we would have collabs and encourage work like this.

I am sending a copy of this PM to Cyangmou and if either of you have any question please let me know. jal"

Even though in the submission rules it states:

"Give credit where credit is due. If you use someone else's lineart or are inspired by someone else's work, remember to credit them. If this is a collaboration, make sure to link to the appropriate collaborators if possible. If the image is a trace or relies heavily on specific photographic material, then provide a link to this material."

I asked why collabs aren't allowed and pjers assured me that they were.

The piece has been made inactive, so even if someone stumbles upon my gallery by accident they won't be able to see it. I've received no further feedback indicating whether it will be allowed or not, and I am anxious to know what is going on. Are there any mods out there that can help me and just clarify what I have to do now?

Dude. You are coming across as desperate now. We are not on monitors waiting to answer everyone's questions and issues like we are the customer service department at walmart. Some things take some time to discuss and iron out and PJers are all over the globe and waiting at least 24 hours for any reply IS a quick reply.

Please take special note that PJ does not change its ways for its members and that anyone who enjoys pixelart is welcome to join PJ but PJ does not join you. I have been trying to find a solution to your personal issue because it involves Cyangmou, an old timer and well respected PJer.

Funny, it didn't take you 24hrs to remove the piece.

I don't remember asking for special favours, nor did make any demand that my question has to be answered in a set time period. Once again I was merely following the rule:

"If you feel this is a mistake please post a FRIENDLY message in the Resources/Support section of the forum and we'd be happy to discuss it with you. Responses to this issue within the gallery site will be ignored."

I'm also not expecting the site to conform to my preferences, I just wanted to know what the verdict is. You clearly have all the power in this transaction, all I can do is follow the rules as it was laid out.
