Hi, I'm new to this whole pixel art thing, i've liked it for along time but never actually tried it before. Now i'm studying Illustration at the London College of Communication and for a project designing packaging for the Autechre song 19 Headaches i decided to have a go at doing some pixel art. It just seemed to fit the song, it's a great excuse to actually have a go at this art form. But like i said, i've never done it before so if theres anything advise anyone can give me, i.e. Programs to use, things to bear in mind while making the art... anything really that you think would be helpful, that would be great! Thanks very much, i'll post the final piece if and when i finish it... Dickon |

If you have Windows, use Paint. It's what a good portion of us here use, and it's on almost every PC. For Mac, I'm not sure, ask someone who uses Macintosh.
