Hey all,
We are developing a kick-ass low rez, single screen, sci-fi, arcade platformer. Its basically a sequel/enhanced version of this game: Mutant Alien Assault But this version is being developed for PC (and Ouya) with controllers and local co-op in mind. We are looking to hire a pixel artist for the following areas: Character design & animation, tile sheets, weapons, UI, and effects. Depending on your skills we can hire you for all areas or just the ones you are competent with. Additional information: Resolution of game: To give you an idea of how much work will be involved with the sprites the games real pixel resolution is 640 x 360. Characters are on average around 24 x 24px. Characters will have on average 15 frames of animation. Job deadline: We have 6 - 12 month timeline to develop this game. It would depend on how many areas you are assigned with, but in general you would need around 20 hours a week to dedicate to this project. Skills required: You need to be able to match or exceed the quality of work in the original game ( Mutant Alien Assault ) Paid: This is a paid job.
