My name's Al and I did a recent LED Pixel Art project on Kickstarter called PIXEL: LED ART. PIXEL got funded and is an LED based display for pixel art where the art is set from an Android device or PC.

This job is for 10 animated gifs in total:

* 8 of them should be 32x32 and 2 in 64x64 resolution
* Smooth and continuous loop
* Must be your original art

Here are some existing examples, yours must be of the same caliber.

The animations should utilize high contrast colors with a black background (low contrast colors don't display well on the LED medium). Here's a guide for creating pixel art on the LEDs

For this job, my Kickstarter backers have some specific requests below. You don't need to do all of them but at least 5 of the animations should match these, the other 5 can be your own ideas.

Old retro bosses
animals
vintage signs (street, classic neon signs, etc)
vintage travel poster art
astronomy art
Video game characters
iconic 80s (ghostbusters, smurfs, back to the future, jaws, mark block, MTV, Heman)

I will select one pixel artist for the job, the deadline to complete the 10 animations is May 24, 2014.

This job is for $150 USD cash or if you like we can trade for a PIXEL V2 unit ($300 USD retail) and I'll cover the shipping (ships in August '14). You'll also be featured on PIXEL's home page at http://ledpixelart.com.
