Hello there! Its me CorneredCosmos, whats that? You don't know who I am... well I'm not surprised.

Now lets get straight into business. I am here on the hunt for a pixel artist for my project Tears of The Sky which can be found here: http://forums.rpgmakerweb.com/index.php?/topic/22832-tears-of-the-sky/

How many positions? There's alot to do for one person, so I would say two positions are open.

So what are you doing?
Now that you have gotten yourself  acquainted with the project... you can guess what I'm here to recruit you for. Did you guess battlers? Well good job! You are correct.

There will be 14 battlers in total, yes these are all important characters.

Money?
So is this paid? Sorry it is not a paid job. This is my first serious game project and my goal is to keep it pretty simple. Use default tiles and not get too ahead of myself. However due to well eccentric characters that I adore... I would love to have custom battlers for them.

What about References?
We do have an artist who makes faces and made a flat battler, just in case we do not get a pixel artist. Don't believe me? Check him out here:http://qin93.deviantart.com/

He will be providing all of the references. I will give you examples of the battler type a character needs and will be attentive to your questions. Plus I will promote whatever you want me to promote of yours. You will be added to our Development page.

Does this game have an deadline?
Our overall deadline is to get the games beta up by December, right now we are flying through. I work on the game everyday for an hour or more, I know that in a team even the leader must pull their fair share. If you want updates from me, I will give them to you.

So what are you all up to?
What can I do? Well I can event, map, and I wrote up the outline it is finished... excluding the alternate endings which I know how they will pan out, but I like to have it written down. Lately I have been working on the first dungeon and imputing new puzzle mechanics. Our Artist is working on the next faceset and our mapper is working on the next dungeon. I finished another town map yesterday.

So what engine is this on?
RPG Maker VX Ace, and I am using Victors animated battlers script. You do not know what these are? Well let me help.

So have you created a game before?

Yes I have, but this is my first to go public. I did post an early demo just to see how people reacted. With that I gained the knowledge necessary to know what a lot of people expect. So those videos you see? Yeah their old... three or more months old. This game has been in the works for three years. First two was character, world, lore, story and history creation done by myself. I did write this game as a book and decided to make it a game, because I thought it would be perfect as a classic RPG.
