I'm planning to the animation of this girl dancing.

Various versions so far (from 1st try to subsequent attempts):

So you know, it's not from lack of trying! 

Rip it apart. I want to learn to portray people's faces well. I really want it.

	3rd was the best attempt IMO. I can't really say much I know little about low resolution portraiture.

	I kind of like the 4th version, I just think it might benefit to have a few highlights on the cheek bones, similar to the 3rd version. I also thing that maybe the differences value should be greater for the shirt though, and possible a bit darker overall if you choose do go with a light background. The 3rd face kind of looks a bit like a doll imo which I think is because of the really round cheek. If you are planning on animating this, it could become a hassle since you're working with such a low res. Regardless, looking forward to it! Edited by ADrawingMan - 17 December 2014 at 6:43am
