There seem to be a ton of tutorials on tilesets and characters, but next to none on special effects like for spells or explosions or landing dust or whatever. Probably on a related note, there don't seem to be many special effects on free resource sites.

I'd rather have the latter (free special effects) for right now, but at this point I'm willing to ask for anything anyone might have or know (tutorials etc.)
