Greetings all,

I'm currently searching for 1 (or a few) illustrators to aid in 2D/2.5D Game development as part of a growing new game development/publishing team called KJC Games. We have existing published works in comics, music, and audio dramatizations. If you wish to take a look at our portfolio, you can view our features at

keyjaycompound.com

The full ad for team members can be found on http://www.gamedev.net/classifieds/item/3929-multiple-positions-creating-a-new-team-kjc-games/

At the moment (read full details at ad post link above) this is a non-paying project but only for a limited time. Opportunity cost in work involved is limited and we are in no way condoning full development service for free. We're artists too, we understand. To compensate, we are limiting the scope of development by beginning with prototyping and advancing from there with milestones. Full details at the link above.

I'm looking for Concept Artists, Character Artists (especially those that can match our existing work and quality level), Asset Creation (shrubs, trees, buildings, etc.), Sprites (we'll be utilizing a modular sprite approach instead of traditional sprite sheets), GUI, and Backgrounds.

Considering this is a sprite and pixel community, I need an artist(s) that can match our current character designs and has a fare grasp on modular animation. Something like this quality is what I'm going for:

1. http://danfessler.com/blogimages/muramasa_vs_streetfighter.png (Muramasa Demon Blade)
2. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZkIcv_Duc_4 (Rival Threads)
3. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k_YOaQKLVo0 (Rayman Origins)

If I at least peaked your interest, please send me an Email to contact@keyjaycompound.com with your portfolio. Please title the email, KJC Games - Artist Inquiry.

Thank you all and I'm looking forward to working with you!
