I am having a kickstarter soon to raise money to overhaul the art for my game, which visually I would like to be very close to Chronotrigger. The goal for my kickstarter will be heavily dictated by some of the quotes and estimations here. This is not a paid job offer YET, but will turn into one (or more likely, several).

Let's start with two questions. What kind of price would you put on a Chronotrigger character sprite with 4 walking animations and 4 emotes?
What kind of price would you charge for 5 characters done in this way? What kind of price would you charge for 10 characters done this way?

Second question, the battles will be turn based Final Fantasy style setups. How much would you charge for something like this below character (same size, detail and complexity of movement) with 4 attack animations and one idle animation? Again how much would you charge for 5 characters done this way, and how much would you charge for 10 characters done this way?

Upon rereading your post I note I only responded to you about your battle animations.

As far as the walking animations and emotes...
How many animation frames would these be and how large would the sprites be?
