Dear admin (or anyone else who can help),

I submitted a piece to the gallery and it didn't meet the required quality standards. I thought that the artwork was fit to upload (I always make sure before I upload anything). However, something about the illustration isn't right and I'm unsure what that is. I've double checked the dimensions, file size, use of non pixel assets (such as gradients or vector shapes), and anything else I could think of.

Maybe I overlooked something or maybe it's something obvious. Regardless I would love some help as to how I can fix this.

I love this site, and greatly appreciate the effort the community goes through to help others. If any one can point me in the right direction, I'd really appreciate it! :)

I will assume you mean this

If yes, then see that the pixel is still in the public queue and has yet to be added. It is lingering because it is waiting for votes and maybe comments because when I first saw it it seemed to me that the top and bottom third have a gradient semi trans overlay even tho total color is just 66colors so maybe not and have yet to download and inspect closely.
Some pixels just take a little longer to add.

To further clarify:
All pixels are viewed on their own and there is no set rule against a semi trans overlay if the overlay does not lose control of the pixels themselves.
If you have a pure black and bring to 50% then that could be ok because you could well change the art manually but a gradient would generate pixels for you and that's what it seems at first glance you have here.

When I worked on this piece I thought that I'd make a cool looking reflective surface that the characters are standing on. I took the artwork flipped it and messed with the lights and darks and saturation. I never used gradients or opacity :)
