CHALLENGE RULES

• Participants have until this upcoming Sunday at midnight (12AM Pacific) to submit their entry (strict). Don't forget to check the 'Submit to weekly challenge' checkbox.
• Only new pixels allowed.
• Open to all members.
• Posting WIPs in this thread or in new threads in the WIP section is highly encouraged, but ONLY SUBMIT YOUR FINAL ART.

• Every week a new voting poll will be posted for previous week's entries.

I get reminded of cats when I think of two different eye colors per eye :o

Any ideas on what to use the extra two color slots I have on? I'm thinking an extra shade for each of the eye color (which I didn't pick out yet) but it seems like a shame to waste a color slot for a small amount of pixels :x

Just to clarify - A color that is fully transparent is considered a color out of the whole 9 color pallet, correct?

I'm not very good at portraits, is it going ok? Maybe there's something off that I don't notice?

Well, sometimes I just don't feel like I can get the colors right. Any suggestions on my palette?

I like the colors in the one. I think the eyes could be a bit larger.

Hahaha noted, thanks for the feedback.

The work keeps on going. I had to change the light source to simple frontal when I realized my skill wasn't enough to pull off shading from 2 ls at different angles :)


And no, I din't forget about heterochromia

Thanks, I was thinking the same it was looking washed out and too busy!

I have reverted back to my old palette, pruned the leaves back and darkened the one side. Oh, and I've also added some spots.

Still not 100% happy with it yet but here it is atm:-

Let me know what I might change for this one. I managed to stick to 4 colors. If anyone is curious about my shading process I'll be happy to run through it.
