Haven't seen the movie but here I would suggest that the "frame" be darker than the room so that it intensifies the gloominess.

I might suggest using a dark grey instead of black for the chair's outline and legs. Mindless gore is well done though.

too much contrast methinks. Try and make the light appear on the
walls , and make teh walls darker for a creepier more tortuous feeling :D |
