I am looking to collaborate with a burgeoning pixel artist for a personal project of mine – Cloud Kingdoms.

Cloud Kingdoms will be a post-apocalyptic webcomic that explores an alternate earth with mysterious crystals that give people incredible power. Using these Objects of Power, the evil Sky Kings have enslaved the earth’s population. One unassuming orphan must rise to the challenge and hone his unique skills to set the world right again.

I’d like to explore a few different art styles in this project. I love the work of Alphonse Mucha and the pastel colors and gradients found in his work, and I’d like to combine it with the pixel art aesthetic we know and love. Although I have experience with digital art, I don’t have the skills to draw the storyboard, characters, and landscapes myself.

The world of Cloud Kingdoms is several years in the making. I’ve worked and re-worked the story arc, characters, antagonists, technology, and magic, and now I have a world I feel confident about.
