Pixel Joint Forum: What influenced you?

   That is quite a fun question for me.

Sometimes people use the word ,,style'' rarely or they use it way to much and i think eveyone has something that had some impact in thw way you do thing and what you consider cool and good.

I take me as an example (because i know the most about me):

I personally loved ,,Dragon Hunters'' the concept of one new droagn each episode made my day everyday as an kid...i drawn alot of dragons myself and things like ,,long sharp teeth'' and ,,everything has multiple eyes'' or ,,give it a horn and it looks more badass'' just got stuck by me and eevrything i make still word after that philosophy...

Or things like ,,eyes more towerd the nose make the mouth look bigger''...

Another thing that i loved are the Roobot guardians of the Ghibli film ,,Laputa''...that influenced my a lil even when i didt noticed it.

So the goal of the thread is to spy out the memeber of PJ :P

	That's a good question. I think my style was heavily influenced by the early final fantasy series, mainly FF6. I think a lot of it is an amalgam of video games, anime and tv shows, and comics. Comics/graphic novels are great sources for learning story telling, art styles, line art, etc. I was big into Spiderman and X-Men as a kid, when you could pick up a comic at the local grocery store. Other than that, I get inspired by the new generation of pixel artists, people working on games like Eitr, Death's Gambit, Stardew Valley, and Hyperlight Drifter, to mention a few.

	I liked Dragon Hunters too, even I was too old to watch it. But it is influence on me? Not really. My influences seems extremely random, a cute colourful unicorn peeing rainbows and a slaughtered vampire mixed together. So a slaughtered colourful unicorn and a vampire peeing cute rainbows would be the result.
