So there we go, the first thing I've put up.
This didn't take that long...
Messed up the highlighting on the rader I know...
Very hard to do curves x.x;

Anyways... The house shall expand into a Village!... Then a Town!....then a City!.... it get's exploded by a big bomb ^^ .... jsut said that outloud.... >,>;;;;; Lol. Nah jus' kidding.

Tell me what ya think though...

I'm trying to find you a tutorial on how to pixel metal.

Also, try bringing down how bright the windows are.

Dither is a pixel by pixel technique.
It's used to make it appear as if there are more colours used then there actually are in a peice.

Everything else was dithered though.
Just...as I said...curves are hard...
[I thought dithering is when you use a prog to put random pixels over the place... mroe or less like a jpeg does...]

those shadows are off.  your lightsource is coming from the left and your shadows are going down.  looks like you just did a black copy of the buildings and set opacity.  they should be facing down and to the right and be at about 30% the size of the buildings.

So my shadow are correct,
And I actually redrew the sahdow, didn't sue the building or anything, if youlook at it, it's off to the right abit, the sun is really low, that's why the shadows are big.

Then why is the left side of your buildings highlighted?
By the looks of it your light is coming from the top left corner.

If that's the case, then light would not strike that wall.

The shadows of your bulidings are off, as ensell said. They should be going to the right. With shadows directly below the buildings, it looks like the grass is a reflective surface like a mirror. I'd fix up the shadows.

Also, no dither is necessary on iso pieces as souly said. Usually you don't use dither. Some of your lines are wonly and your buildings have no highlights.

I'd suggest zoggle's iso tut but unfortunately it's not up now. Just examine other iso pieces. Browse The Joint for a bit.

Though you say the buildings must be white on those sides because they are white, you can actually use near-white colors to shade white.

Instead of arguing about how much we know you or stating how lazy you are, how about you direct that energy to improving your piece.

You asked for critique when you posted it here. If you didn't think you needed improvement, you wouldn't have bothered to ask. It's pretty rude to ask for something and then refuse to take it when people have gone to the trouble of giving it to you. There are plenty of other people on this board with less replies who'd be more thankful for the help.

Ok, apparently you dont know what a lightsource is.  you have a light side of the building and a darker.  the lighter side is where the light is coming from, and the shadows are saying that the sun is coming from another angle. 

but hey, your art sucks right now and since you cant take c&c at all it seems, it will always be like that

perhaps you should consider another art medium.  perhaps a coloring book and crayons?

simple. put a dark bluegrey colour on te lighter places. in real life black objects become greyish too when the light hits it.

we here dont do ratings, though this one is positively better.
the shading of this building is tenfold better, seeing as it is actually shading that is correct with the lighting direction.

i would suggest getting rid if the white highlights inder the red pipes(?) because it makes it look like the wall sticks out further then the pipes, which isnt true
and the door doesnt need that lighter edge on it IMHO. neither do the windows.

and for the linearts i dont really have a comment, they are good, maybe could use some people to spruce it up though

usually the buildings themselves are simple in iso. Details are what makes it less simple, IMO anyway.

I don't think anyone is flaming Sythius. We're trying to give him crits and he keeps dismissing them with excuses or sarcasm. It's rude and when you give rudeness, you should expect some back. Especially when you're asking for help from a community you haven't been very active in.

Why are you getting so angry? All we're trying to do is help you. Of course snader just edited it. He's not going to do your work for you. 90% of the time, you don't seem to listen to the suggestions we give you and it's frustrating.

We give you what we think you should do to the building, for example, take out the dithering, fix the shadow on the grass, etc. and you respond with excuses like my shadows are correct, i can't do curves, meh, i've given up on doing shadows. Everything we throw at you to try and help you you either make an exuse for or ignore completely. Just read your posts or reread our suggestions. We've given you plenty of suggestions already to improve.

Instead of saying you can't do something, how about trying to do it first?
