I made characters based on some friends of mine for a game I'm developing. I've seen a lot of great critiques given and I'd love to get some input. At first I designed my characters with a RPG style but I wasn't satisfied with the look so I am trying a more cartoony style.

I agree the saturation feels a bit low so they all look washed out, but I think the bigger problem is the low contrast on their facial features and between different articles of clothing on some of them, making them difficult to read without zooming in.
