Hey everybody, I've been away mostly due to working on this game. It's finally 1 week from coming out after years of work! There will be some pixel art in the game too, but can't currently go into much detail about that.

The game is Elo Hell. It's a narrative, episodic game about a kid that decides to become an E-sports pro in a turn-based sci-fi strategy game we've made called Echo Star (so we made 2 games in one, plus minigames ).

Here's a post highlighting some of the minigames for various episodes so far. I was able to use Normal maps in UE4 to create various lighting conditions for pixel assets, which created some interesting effects (all asteroids are the same color without lighting for example).
