As for ideas to put in, the first thing that comes to my mind is a Ferris wheel. We also lack a dark ride (any theme can go but horror comes to my mind first).

@Gecimen , Could I claim tile number 95? I know it's ambitious but I was staring at the numbers for like half an hour and couldn't decide so I did a random number generator and that's what I got, so I am determined to follow it through.

@Amazonite I would advice you to pick a standard tile for starters. Edge tiles require many times more work, mesured not only by the amount of pixels. It is better for them to be choosed by collabers with couple of tiles of experience. And it is better for newcoming collabers to start with easier task to not be wear down by it's size, the responsibility and time required to finish it, which could be discouraging. If you grab a standard tile and really catch a vibe with the collab and show yourself and other participants that you like it and that you can deliver, than it would be a reasonable next step to take an edge tile.
It's only an advice of course so I guess nobody will stop you. If you are really convinced that this is where you want to start, and this space is the only one that inspires you, and you have a cool idea for it, that cannot wait, than go for it. But from what you have written, it is a result of a random number generator, so I personally wouldn't follow chance in that matter if there are so many standard tiles to choose from. |

Excuse you, I was part of planetISO
I want to change my tile anyway because I honestly can't for the life of me work out what is happening around that tile. I can't tell if it is glassed off or still ocean and if there is some sea monster developing there. Soooo I will choose another tile but not because you told me to. And since it is Australia, I will go to sleep and choose one tomorrow. ![]() ![]() |

hi @Taks, i did the south tile from yours (#43) and a little part of the ear hat on the blue character is missing, and the white and grey line that goes from the hand on the same character its for a balloon (as seen in the sketch on page 8) or something else if you wanna add anything. i hope i'm not being like, annoying or something like that :) Either way, i like how you solve that transition between dirt and path.

@Amazonite: great, maybe i will have time to redo my tile :DDD i'm thinking about changing the ground so it will look more like what cljm123 made for that huge tile with whale. also, you're right, it's a bit chaotic down there.
imo it can't be a part of sea which is in the cljm's tile, because the waterline is much higher there, but that same waterline seems to be broken at tile #87? oh, and if by sea monster you mean that blue thing in my tile #96, that's a shipwreck. ;] |

WIP: Okay so I fleshed it out a bit more, now I am going to sleep. WIP: So, I feel like I've solved my little shading problem for the top of the carousel. You can let me know your thoughts on my solution. Anyway, what is more pressing is that I want your thoughts on whether I should keep the footpath in shadow or not. Or if I should have it partially shaded. ![]() |

The top looks nice. Shadow on the ground is a good idea, but right now it looks like it is casted by something behind the carousel. It shouldn't extend north beyond the base. Something more or less like this: ![]() The brown bar could also have some dithered shadow to show it is on the dark side. Also, if you are making the shape of the carousel not a perfect circle but kind of unsymmetrical, deformed shape in a style of crazy cartoons, maybe it could be even more exaggerated to have the intention perfectly clear? |

It's so weird how my eyes didn't see that before, I think I need to start flipping my picture while I am working, so my eyes don't get too used to seeing the same thing. Because I was blind to those symmetry faults lol.

b236 Maybe some rock formations and boulders instead of a wall like the tile with the whale has. Because I could imagine that if someone dug out an underground base or whatever that they aren't going to cover the rock walls with gyp-rock or metal sheets. Up to you though, just an idea.
