@Mrpixeldude: I made some quick adustemnts to your tile to show you how the shadow should fall (from right to left) and how you can add some struckture. I'm only participating in collabs and i learned a lot by looking and imitating the work of others. Take a look at the previous collabs and how they made "grass" and "paths". Also your colors where off. Soo i changed them to the correct pallete. I usually copy the palette into the picture and use the "eyedropper tool" to pick from these colors. Hope this helps you! I got a lot of help from all others, soo i want to give some back/forth :) ![]() |

@vrine I love where you are going with this but putting underwater on the topside of the collab will be real problematic, therefore I slided your tile and Krugelix's tile to 81-88 and moved Reo's tile to 67; hoping not to step on anyone's toe. Making cross-section underwater and underground in the lower border is less risky and way better looking.

The shadows are still not there, imagine them being cast from top right. For example the right guy's shadow would be as large as the left guy's; and the left guy's hand shadow would be facing south, not north, if visible at all. The people and lion still not isometric. See the examples I have sent before. Also you don't really need those pitch black outlines.

@ArmyFrog; Not right now. You can only choose around fully finished and approved tiles, that is non-reserved tiles that touch diagonally with the finished tiles. How about #70 or #86 for example?

Here's a little WIP for tile 72.
I think I'll move Pennywise down and to the right a bit since where he is now with the cart in the same spot it gets a bit confusing to look at. I still want to have him somewhere wehre his shadow can be cast on the top of the tent to show he's floating. Also my intention with the cart is to be part of a sort of Haunted House Train ride or something, but happy for it to be worked into whatever idea people may have. ![]() |
