![]() I still have some issue with the Rhinos textur since, they don't really have fur so their back would be kind of plain and maybe some reflection... But he looks weird and naked and maybe underfeed, if someone would draw a little on him would be appreciated. The slide is suppose to lead to a hole, does it looks like that? And then some smaller holes for the meerkat. Not sure if I should leave the borders clean or add some grass or leave it as is and the problem is for the next tile? |

@Terzom, ground texture is getting there. Please note that the holes on the ground also need to be isometric. An isometric circle on the ground must be 1x high and 2x wide (for example 10 pixels vertically and 20 pixels horizontally). Don't keep the borders clean! Your borders are the only thing you give your neighbors something to continue with. Single pixel lines might not be the best way to texture an animal, please check out the other animals from previous collabs that I pasted here. If it still doesn't work out, I'll help you out with some examples. @vrine; going great!

@Gecimen Thanks for the input, didn't want to make the meerkat bigger since then it would't really fit the scale since they are small creatures but I can understand that you can barely see them.

Sorry I disappeared for a few days. Here's my current WIP: ![]() Aiming to finish this tomorrow with a few people (maybe a rider or two but I struggled to get the one I tried to look good) and maybe a direction marker at the bottom like in vrine's monkey tile. If anyone has any tips for shading the red and yellow base then I'm very interested as I'm struggling to stop it looking flat. Here's a plan of the whole carousel but I'll probably post this again when I finish: ![]() @vrine: Love the whale tile. Particularly liking the difference between the lighting above and below the water. Is the burger stall tile a RollerCoaster Tycoon reference? Looking good so far. @b236: The diving gondola idea is great! Only found out about them recently thanks to a Tom Scott video but they're really interesting. @gawrone: Great tile. The characters are all so distinctive and they look wonderful. Even though I love drawing people, I struggle so much in iso so I have a lot to learn from what you've done. @cjlm123: Loving the station and track so far. I really enjoy your work with texture, and the shading is very beautiful too. @ThrillhouseSSB: Nice and appropriately terrifying tile! @Gecimen: That entrance booth is really nice. The texture of the stone chimney is especially good. There's such a great sense of weight to the stones.

@Sedicebisonte; actually from this far you shouldn't be depleting the ramps on such a slight gradient. In other words, this is more or less fine. Perhaps you can add white highlights into the yellow on the left side.

Calling #58 finished unless anyone has any pointers for drawing a rider on the carousel. I just can't make it look good. It always looks too busy. ![]() Here's the full plan for the surrounding tiles: ![]() Note that the top of the carousel rises slightly like a cone, but has a flat central section. It's primarily based on the RollerCoaster Tycoon design but I haven't depicted the indentation in the top: ![]() I've done a rough plan for the word 'PIXELJOINT' twice round the side. If anyone who takes on the tiles to the left wants to do something different, the font is Rockwell Extra Bold. @b236: Thanks for the idea. It looks a lot better and, as you can see, I went with it! @Gecimen: I couldn't quite work the white into the yellow so I've left it for the time being. If a connecting tile does something with it then I might do a revised version of this. Thanks for the suggestion though. @Irenaart: Looking really good already. Dumbo looks great!

@Maye I think it fits the theme! (Although we should wait for a Mod approval) And the truck does not need to fit entirely on your tile (Unless you want to), the goal of a collab is to have other artists complement the idea of what bleeds of your tile on theirs and add their own ideas

I have some minor ciriticism but nothing dramatic: - blue slide is too steep for something useful. - the base points of fence should be isometic. I'll be adding your tile and Irenaart's tile to the main image, you can fix these if/when you have the time.
