basically everything in this collab image should be more or less on the isometric grid like this one:
that's what gawrone meant with 2:1 line - it's two horizontal steps, one vertical step.
check SeDiceBisonte's sketch:
it nicely fits into the grid. now, let's overlay that grid over your tile:

do you see the issue? the building goes perfectly along the grid and suddenly the corner of the building and part of its front is missing and angles of your carpet are wrong (not isometric). also the carpet is too wide.
so keep those red lines gecimen drew to connect the building:

and follow the grid to correct the carpet.

I see.

I never do in this perspective before. Here is, hope it's good now.

@technologgamer
You haven't applied most of the suggestions which were offered, please reread the posts which have addressed those issues and check whether you've made the necessary edits on a point by point basis.

I agree the glass tunnel should be much deeper, for more marinal life fit above it, but I'm open to all sizes.

Thank you Thrillhouse! :D

@b236 - for some reason your WIP isn't loading for me, but I bet it is cool!
I'm definitely not keen to add the glass tunnel to my orca tile, it would cut through the orcas head. If it stays in Krugelix's tile, I think the stairs option would be best.

@vrine - you're way too kind :]] that's strange those images don't load for you.
anyway, i didn't mean to suggest the tunnel should clash with your orca - there will have to be some staircase or angle in tile 95 for sure.

Great idea vrine.
Have you seen Pom Poko? There's a scene in which the tanuki put on a parade which may act as inspiration for people continuing your tile.

(In fact, the construction of a theme park is a central plot point in the movie, so it would be a pity to go without referencing it.)

Thank you cjlm! :)
I have actually, such a great movie and really cool idea! I'll see if I can fit at least one tanuki in my tile, would love to see more in the adjoining

Edit:

Coincidentally I had Chihiro in the bottom corner, so I'm keen for some more Ghibli action B)
Happy to call this one done if acceptable!

Edit 2 electric boogaloo:

I can see your tile now b236 and it looks amazing!!! I knew it would be, but wow just really fabulous!

I plan to add some rocks/cliffs on the left side of the image, and I must find how to connect nicely my tile with the bottom one.

Sorry I missed this post. The octopus is the right scale, and the pool is up to you, it can be a small pool.

I also can't see b236's embedded images, but when I check the link and manually open it in my browser it works

Test:

Might be some issue with the humanworlds.org domain, I tried the image from the main page there above and it doesn't display in the post either.

imgur is more failsafe.

@vrine thank you for joining with multicultural festival clash!

Anyone woudl like to join with something like RIO CARNIVAL on #34 or anywhere near?

@cjlm123 I love your idea for the top center of the collab. I have a personal challenge of not taking edge tiles this time, so I decided to join you on #11 now. If you have any suggestions how you want the track to come up in there please share :)

I may have get back to #65 if noone want's it, but I can't find the movie refference for the IT ride there. Anyone could help? I wanted to continue it without butchering it.

How about we have two tunels. Small for people and larger for the track?

@vrine; way better!

@mrpixeldude; It's not like you have responded to our initial critique, characters and lion are still not isometric, they are not shaded, the shadows are wrong or missing.

@gawrone well, if we want to continue with the roller coaster as top border idea, then the vertical.wooden supports would end up somewhere like here in tile 11.(though of course there could be more decorative cladding or something else instead covering the upright supports)

Off topic: Interestingly, I can see the embedded image's from b236's domain on mobile but not on desktop chrome. Very odd!

Ok, no problem I like that. I can think of some ornamentation.
In this case we will take the track the longer way - around and above the upcoming 10th tile with a lion.

I forgot in my last wip add a shadow to polar.

Kinda winging the water texture, lol. Added more space to the right because I noticed one of the nearby tiles having a road. Hope this'll be done soon :)

I'll be adding your tile and Irenaart's tile to the main image, you can fix these if/when you have the time.

I've done some small changes, made the slide less steep, I hope that is what you had in mind or if I should make it more flat/straight.

Adjusted the pole but not sure how to make the pole/fence More isometric, I checked on some lamp posts and wooden structures and they are similar to 3-5pix width with highlight in the middle. Idea is to be a small pole/sticks in the ground and they would be connected at the middle/top.

I am not sure what more to add and I am open to make adjustment to fit my neighbors tile better if they want to make something that is going to overlap.

Huh really, he is? Thought the size was right on target, especially as I had a look at the example humans and nobody seems to have told me he looked too big until now lol. Although I decided to quickly look up some pictures of seals to make sure of the size and there do appear to have been specimen that were pretty big (mostly elephant seals though).

Thanks at all for the comments. I think i nerver got so much reaction to a tile  . I can understand that its hard to continue with the tunnel and i guess it fits better a different tile.
I added a Tortoise, since its a highlight of every aquarium tunnel. Others would be mantarays and sharks.

With context (the swan needs to be finished in tile #80)

@gawrone: Thank you. I hope I can do some more.
Maybe something with mirrors, that distort the image.
A long wait queue in front of one of the attractions.
Take part in the carousel mini-colab.
(feel free to steal the Idea).

I have a small wish: Could you add to #74 the finn from the orca?

(here an example from my rough sketch)

i've added https certificate, so hopefully you can see the images.

i'm honestly bit uncertain here which version is better. the tunnel at the bottom would mean no fake volcano and no cancun-like underwater museum statues.
...also i really don't want to draw people in the tunnel :D so i'm leaning more to the version with the tunnel at the top.

what you guys think?

I can see them (PC with firefox).

I think its okay to have it in the back, since its not the main part of your tile. Its just to continue, what will eventually be in other tiles.
Soo I guess, if you dont want to have it in your tile, or you think it does not fit, you could omit it.

Thanks for the refrence. I hope its clear that she got shorts. I guess the other tiles will complete the shorts.
I also added Donald, what do you think... add Huey, Dewey and Louie?

Yeah! You finally got the isometric carpet right. Unfortunately your tile is not ready to accept yet. You should always work with the suroundings of your tile, not on your sole tile separated from the rest of the collab image (and also present it to us at least with the part of the surrounding, so we don't have to copy it and paste it ourselves to see). As you can see:

Your tile doesn't connect well with the rest, and is even it the wrong size. It's too big. You have the red carpet isometric now, but the rest of the house still needs to be added. At least the second column and the part of the wall, and the part of the wooden step, you clearly are cutting away.

Summing up:

1) Crop the tile to the right size (fit it to the template or - better - to the downloaded full collab image or part of it which contains your tile)

2) Focus on the connections with tiles 24 and 39 that are smooth, clean, and make sense.

@b236 I like the second version with the tunnel in the back. Will make things interesting - the rollercoaster track will not always be on the top, but feel more intergrated with the entire park.

@Krugelix the main post is updated. It was yours already but now it is also legally yours ;)
