Project:
Our indie team is working on a fantasy Action Role Playing Game with Roguelike elements. We are targeting the end of 2022 to complete our project. We are looking for 2D artists proficient in sprite animation, character design, and environments.

Job Description:
2d artist/animator with production and character design experience. The artist will help by creating character designs, producing the art assets, and importing them into Unity.

Our ideal candidate has experience with character design concepts, maintaining discipline in stylistic choices and pallets, with strong illustration and animation skills. Solid visual arts and illustration foundation is valued highly, as is consistency and efficiency.

For this position, demonstrable experience with “Anime/Manga” style and Unity are a plus.

The duration of this employment depends on the time required to complete assets.

Qualifications:
2 years of production experience in a game studio, college art program, or similar professional environment.

Portfolio showcasing range of illustration and styles.

Ability to work rapidly and consistently.

Familiarity with Unity and other animation toolsets, allowing submission of work in common digital file types and decided upon resolutions.

Character design skills.

Nice to haves:
Experience with Anime stylized characters.
Communication and collaboration skills.
Visual storytelling experience.
