Welcome to another Pixel Joint Palette competition. It is open for all users. To participate, you have to build your own unique and original palette with 24 colors, arrange it in our template, and post it here.

You must name the HEX values and NO black - 000000 or white - FFFFFF

Competition closes on April 30th 2026.

Palettes will be judged by PJ mods and guests invited from PJ users who won't participate themselves.

The winning palettes will be rewarded with rare PJ trophies.

Any of the submitted palettes could, and some of them will be used in an upcoming project, which will be announced later this year.

The project mentioned will be focused on painterly portraits. This means the palettes will be judged not only by their qualities like coherency, balance, or uniqueness, but also applicability to portraits. This doesn't mean you have to add skintones, only that it is possible to shade a face with it, even if it doesn't have any browns, beiges, or pinks. A similar approach is advised in regard to shading hair or clothes. Generic versatility is good, but eyecatching uniqueness is better.

If you submit a palette, you acknowledge that it will be used by others for the purpose of this project, and credit may not be posted by participants if they submit their project piece to their gallery, but you will get overall credit for it.

These palettes are not to be considered art, so no adding to your galleries. It's best to assume that others may use your palette beyond this project. By entering you are giving permission to all.

You may enter more than once, but quality is better than quantity. There is an upper limit of no more than 3 entries per person to raise the quality and to make the judging process fair to the judges.
