Definately still a WIP.
 
Things to add:
  • greenery
  • monsters/enemies
  • bats?

I definately don't like mario there, i'll work on changing him later, but you guys in the pool reccomended me posting my progress.

FYI, this is going to be a website banner for my new web layout. I'm finally going to be putting my peices back up. I've largely got it coded, all cept for this lovely banner and other image details.

The mario looks kinda pillowshadey; you might want to change tha aa on the mouth or mustache (I can't tell). Also, the skulls have a dark grey outline that could use some inner aa to break it up and fix the 45 degree lines.

RPG is numberwang.

Very nice edit, setz.  The one thing about this that I really dislike is his foot, atm he appears to be at an isometric stance in a sidescroller setting, I'd put both of his feet at the same level.

I'm loving it so far. Nice colour scheme, great Mario stle items and the background.
